About Us

Professional, knowledgeable, reliable, and respected. These are words synonymous with the reputation built by Tatro, since our start in 1952, in Garden City, KS. A look at our timeline shows the great work we’ve accomplished, including expansion beyond Western Kansas. While we started as a residential plumbing company, we are proud to be taking on expansive commercial and industrial HVAC and plumbing construction projects from medical facilities to schools and industrial projects. Compared to the tools and project sizes we started within 1952, our roots remain humble and strong while using technology to enhance construction. What remains is our steadfast and dependable work ethic, astute problem solving, and unified drive to continually implement modern technology in the construction field while aiding the Midwest in its growth and modernization.

While we still provide residential plumbing services, now we can also design, estimate, budget, fabricate the appropriate piping and ductwork, for installation of an entire commercial site’s plumbing and HVAC systems. We have skilled and solid project managers, sub-contractors, and certified welders dedicated to every job. You can contract us to complete all aspects of service work related to your major commercial and industrial projects.

We are grateful for the opportunity to serve this region of the country for so long, and look forward to working with you on your next major project!
